HARRISBURG – Today, surrounded by family and friends, Rep. Marc Anderson (R-York) took the oath of office as state representative of the 92nd House District in the Commonwealth. Following the ceremony, which kicked off the 2025-26 Legislative Session, he issued the following statement:

“Two months ago, I was in the classroom teaching history to high school students, and today, in service to my students and all the citizens of the Commonwealth, I put my hand on my father’s Bible and swore to uphold the U.S. and Pennsylvania constitutions,” said Anderson. “I am beyond thankful and humbled by the trust placed in me, and I look forward to representing the people of northern York County, as their voice in Harrisburg.”

“I will uphold my commitment to focus on the issues of education reform, protecting individual rights and liberties, improving the economy, increasing government transparency and accountability, and ensuring election integrity.”

“And lastly, I want to thank my beautiful wife, Cindy, along with my children, family, friends and students who have supported me throughout this journey,” said Anderson. “God has faithfully guided us through this process, and I am thankful for His provision and blessings.”

The 92nd House District encompasses the following communities in York County: Carroll, Dover (District 2), Fairview, Franklin, Monaghan, Newberry, Warrington and Washington townships; and the boroughs of Dillsburg, Franklintown, Goldsboro, Lewisberry, Wellsville and York Haven.
