HARRISBURG – Rep. Marc Anderson (R-York) today announced state grant funding for three projects in Franklin and Monaghan townships and York Haven Borough.
The funding for these projects came from the state’s Local Share Account program. It was awarded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA), an independent agency of the Department of Community and Economic Development.
The projects that received funding are as follows:
• Franklin Township - $106,159 to renovate the Franklin Township municipal building.
• Monaghan Township - $137,382 for the Municipal Complex Reconstruction project.
• York Haven Borough - $104,772 to purchase a skid loader for the borough.
“I am thankful these worthy projects were approved for funding through the LSA program,” said Anderson. “Building improvements and heavy equipment acquisition are important for our communities to be able to thrive.”
Anderson represents the 92nd Legislative House District, which is comprised of Carroll, Dover (District 2), Fairview, Franklin, Monaghan, Newberry, Warrington and Washington townships; and the boroughs of Dillsburg, Franklintown, Goldsboro, Lewisberry, Wellsville and York Haven.
